Honda hasn't been out of the top-level racing segment in Europe for long, but in the racing world, any time out is crucial. That's why the brand has decided to enter a new-generation, race-ready edition of the Honda Civic for this year's FIA World Touring Car Championship (WTCC). As Honda CEO, Takanobu Ito, explains, "We have made a decision to enter the WTCC with the European Civic. We will develop a new engine for this project."¹

Honda is expanding again, and this time the company is headed to Indonesia. This move, which includes a $321.2 million investment in the new auto plant, will triple the brand's local output capacity and help it to reach increased demand in Indonesia and other fast-growing Asian markets.
